Note: This CME is visible to the north in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and GOES CCOR-1 imagery. This event is not seen in STEREO A COR2 imagery in real-time due to a data gap starting at 2026-01-14T16:23Z. The source may be related to an eruption and C3.8 flare from Active Region 14340 (N15E05) starting around 2026-01-14T23:40Z as seen in SDO AIA 131/171/193/304 and GOES SUVI 131/171/195/284/304 imagery. Dimming is observed near the eruption site in SDO AIA 193 and GOES SUVI 195 imagery. A subsequent EUV wave is observed traveling northwest of the eruption site. Noting that a coronal hole located southeast of Active Region 14340 may be responsible for northwestern deflection of this CME. The start of the CME is covered by a data gap in STEREO A COR2 coronagraph and after the data gap its front is very fuzzy/faint in COR2 coronagraph. The CME is also partially obscured by the pylon in STEREO LASCO C3.

If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

Final but somewhat approximate analysis based on the fit with two coronagraphs (SOHO LASCO and STEREO A COR2) and confirmed by the location of the likely source (C-class flare in AR 14340 (N15E05)). The CME front is very fuzzy in STEREO A COR2 coronagraph, as most of its propagation is covered by a large daily data gap in STEREO A. The CME is also partially obscured by the pylon in STEREO LASCO C3. |

Very preliminary measurement made with one coronagraph (SOHO LASCO) based on the source longitude. The measured parameters are speculative as this measurement relies on early imagery. Additionally, a triangulated measurement is not available due to a data gap in STEREO A COR2 imagery. |
